True, plus manual tranny vehicles also manage to eke out a very slight advantage in fuel economy. A drivetrain incorporating a manual tranny also tends to be more reliable as it is less complex and has fewer moving parts than an auto tranny.

Then in that case, you would want to teach him on being responsible and answerable for his own actions while he's still new and impressionable.

It absolutely sucks when the supervisors attempt to draw newbies into the petty world of office politics and use them to their own ends.

It has always happened to me on all the vacation jobs I've had.... but suffice to say, I've learnt to just heck it and focus on getting the job done.
